Writing an e-zine or newsletter can be a lot of fun. If you are
a writer, then compiling articles and information is just part
of your day's work. If you are not a writer, there are numerous
lists to subscribe to where you can get top-quality articles on
a variety of subject matter.
Either way, newsletters are a great way to keep visitors to your

I'm sure you have heard many online marketers touting the
benefits of having a newsletter. I have used newsletters in the
past for many sites. I've used them as a source of revenue by
having advertisements embedded within the newsletter content.
They are also effective as a means to keep a site sticky - to
"anchor" clients and bring them back to the site. Newsletters
can also be a great selling tool to provide free information,
samples of your expertise or services, and as a taste of your

When subscribers' email readers (programs) receive your text

One of the problems arising out of this diversity is line
length. In extreme cases, recipients will get one extremely long
line for each paragraph, because their email programs have not
wrapped the lines (ended each line after a specified number of
characters and moved the text onto a new ... Read the rest of this entry »

Customer orientated newsletters are a wonderful way to market
your business when on a budget. You can choose to write them

A strange thing has been happening to newsletters online.
They have been turning into either a) promotional emails or b)
web pages delivered by email.
I'm sure you know what I mean. Go back a couple of years and you
could look forward to receiving your favorite newsletter in the
knowledge that the newsletter itself would contain some great
content...something you could read and enjoy, or learn from.
You could open the newsletter in your email and read it, from
beginning to end. There were ... Read the rest of this entry »

Currently, most marketing brochures and newsletters are using text and pictures in combination to attract a consumer's attention. Some pictures are a combination of still and animated objects to better the chances of attracting a prospective customer. But, if there is anything advertisers and consumers have learned about marketing, television advertisements are still the best way to attract attention for a product and keep it in the consumer's memory. To fully understand why internet ... Read the rest of this entry »

When I purchased my very first computer, not too long ago, I
signed up for many Internet Marketing Newsletters. Though it's
been a few years, I still have them.
I've subscribed to at least 300 Newsletters and it affords me a
broad outlook. My idea was to track and compare them. The plan

any discernible patterns, any nugget of information.
Well, I've been able to spot changes and the view isn't a pretty
